Refined Rooms is owned and operated by Kim Dingwall. Kim also owns Get ReFurnished, a local premium staging furniture rental company.

Kim has hands-on decorating, space planning and customer service experience from employment within the home furnishings industry. Kim has helped thousands of customers put rooms together.

Kim is co-founder of the Canadian Association of Property Stylists and a CAPS Accredited Member dedicated to a Canadian industry code of ethics and industry excellence. Also formerly the Vice President, Membership of the Ottawa Chapter of the Real Estate Staging Association.  Kim is a certified property stylist with ISRP from QC Design School and a certified renovation manager (RRPM designation) from CSP International.

She believes everyone deserves to be surrounded by beauty, comfort and the things they love. These are guiding principles for every project.

With 30 years marketing and communications experience, Kim provides Refined Rooms’ clientele with a strong ability to focus on the objective of each project. Her ‘big picture’ thinking is complemented with an incredible attention to detail. Project management skills, as well as extensive experience with supplier and customer relations, are pivotal to success in the home staging and decorating businesses.
